His
dedication and passion for the medium came to
the fore with his portrayal of three widely
different characters. He might well be on his
way to collect the trophy for another National
award. Shankar blended religious sentiment in
a modern context with panache. Harris Jeyaraj
worked for the first time with Shankar and all
the songs became hits especially the Andangakka
song. Peter Hain’s action choreography
deserves special mention. |
