If
it was Anniyan for Vikram to prove his versatility,
it was Ghajini for Surya. Surya as Sanjai Ramasamy
was simply superb. He played two different characters
in a single role and the concept of loss of
short term memory was new to the industry. It
was director A.R. Murugadoss’ third film
and he kept up his reputation.
Asin
is the heroine and her sophisticated screen
presence made her role memorable. Nayantara
also makes a guest appearance. Harris Jayaraj
once again came up trumps with the music for
this film. The film also had excellent technical
credits.
