Chandramukhi

Chandramukhi is the biggest hit this year and is racing on to break several previous records for collections in the history of Tamil cinema. The film has been having a dream run all over the world. As superstar Rajini declared at the audio release function of the film, no one can write him off after just one failure. He was like a horse and not an elephant. Jyothika, who was the female lead in the movie, also got wide acclaim for her excellent acting.
The movie also propped up the fortunes of Sivaji Productions which had produced a film after a gap of 12 years. Ramkumar and Prabhu, the producers are very happy indeed. Vidhyasagar joined the big league with this film and cinematographer Sekar V. Joseph’s work was appreciated much.
