This may be the first of its kind
incident. It was during the making
of Jambavaan starring Prashanth and
Nila that this happened. Nila had
reportedly demanded mineral water
for her bath. The producer was understandably
aghast at this demand and promptly
refused. The actress was equally prompt
in packing her bags and leaving for
Delhi.
She
demanded a public apology from the producer before
resuming shooting. The producer tried to bide
his time for the heroine to calm down. The heroine
showed no signs of relenting. With half the film
already shot and the release date nearing, the
producer had no other choice. He gave in to the
heroine’s tantrum and publicly apologized.
It was after this that the actress returned and
completed the movie. Hope that no other producer
has to go through such a predicament in future.
