What a shocker? Ilaiyaraja refusing
to score the music for a movie on
Periyaar. But that is not what actually
happened. Some sources had said that
Ilaiyaraja had stood stern and said
that he would not do the job even
for a crore of rupees. This had created
quite a stir and had put Ilaiyaraja
in a corner. Ilaiyaraja was quick
to clarify. He said that he had never
been approached for the job.
This
piece of news seems a bit exaggerated. However,
Ilaiyaraja has remained low profile on this issue.
Meanwhile Vidyasaagar has scored the music for
the movie.
