BRUCE LEE - THE FIGHTER SONGS REVIEW
Review by : Behindwoods Review Board
Album Release Date : Oct 02,2015
Bruce Lee is an upcoming action packed entertainer starring Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. Music for this film is composed by S.S.Thaman and this is the fourth film for him with the fun filled filmmaker Srinu Vaitla after Dookudu ,Baadshah and Aagadu.
The most awaited album of the season begins with a track high on energy levels and foot tapping rhythms- the prime factors for any Thaman’s compositions. The track is retains the massive energy with timely rhythm section, and trendy vocals of Sai Sharan and Nivaz. The lyrics rightfully speak about the aggression and fighting spirit one must have in life.
An out and out Hip-Hop track with stylish rap portion and Deepak’s digitalized voice welcomes the listener. The track progresses in a breathtakingly trendy manner topped with urbane lyrics. The track has an Trance like feel associated with it and despite heavy drums, it progresses in a breezily pleasant manner. A special mention is needed for the exquisite Rap rendition by Rabbit Mac.
The album gets a folksy item song touch with this ravishingly appealing number with foot tapping rhythm section. While both vocalists do their best justice for this peppy composition, it is Ramya Behara who takes the front seat with her aggressive voice. Thaman sticks to his usual strengths and delivers a signature item number without much to experiment.
The right time arrives for an escape route to a chill out island with the most catchy song of the album. Megha does a wonderful job with her silky voice and Thaman rightfully follows with his husky rendition. However, it is the mesmerizing ambience which the song creates makes it so appealing and opts for repetitive hearing! The clever usage of mild digital loops gives it an amazing trendy look!
A grand finale makes its way in style with another skirmish item number from the huskiest voice of Sameera Bharadwaj. Simha, who has already been quite famous for funky numbers finds his to be an easy cakewalk. However, the excess usage of instrument and confusing bass work sounds cacophonous as the song progresses by.
