Baahubali is an upcoming magnum opus two part film with stunning star cast like Prabhas, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. The film is directed by blockbuster filmmaker S.S.Rajamouli and music is composed by the veteran M.M.Keeravani.

Pacha Bottasi
Singers: Damini, Karthik
Lyrics: Anantha Sri Ram

A breathtaking melody paves the way for the most anticipated Telugu album of this year. Keeravani begins the album effectively with a folksy melody for which Karthik’s mesmerizing voice is the forerunner. The composition takes a time travel tour with the background of Hindustani Raag Pahaadi which is usually utilized for pleasant compositions. Despite the unavoidable yesteryear feel, the track manages to create an appreciable impact on the listener. The lyrics make no mistake in speaking about a pristine love in the midst of Mother Nature.

Mamatala Talli
Singers: Surya Yamini
Lyrics: K. Siva Shakthi Datta

The undercurrent energy sustains at its best with a mellowed yet power packed composition which takes a graceful transformation between a sweet lullaby to a reasoning for revenge. The heart wrenching flute rendition takes an effortless pathway towards symphony and the clunks of swords depicting war and confrontation. Keeravani does his best to present these conflicting emotions in the musical arena with new age experimentation.

Nippulaa Swasa Ga
Singers: M.M. Keeravaani
Lyrics: Inaganti Sundar, K. Siva Shakthi Datta

The composer Keeravani himself renders this track high on energy levels in terms of chants, progressive symphony and it definitely galvanizes the listener in terms of superior lyrics and amazing orchestration.  The composition is replete with yesteryear trumpets, passionate percussions and what not.. This track gives the picture perfect idea about how brilliant the album would progress! It is a pleasure to hear Keeravani use his trademark violin once again in this composition.

Manohari
Singers: Mohana Bhogaraju, Revanth
Lyrics: Chaitanya Prasad

It is time to take a sojourn with Indian flavor and taking a tour with Far East essence in terms of music. The tribal styled beats make a perfect highway for fantastic flute rendition and the catchy tune is presented well by the husky vocalists. The interludes are peculiarly laced over strings, delicate piano, trombone and tantalizing treble.

Dhivara
Singers: Deepu, Ramya Behara
Lyrics: K. Siva Shakthi Datta, Ramajogayya Sastry

An extremely pleasant number which oscillates between surrender and aggression in a convincing manner, arrives next. Though the track has great usage of percussions, imaginative chants and vibrant shades of piano, it is the disciplined bass work which makes a good impact.  In short, this is the breeziest composition of the album which also has its timely deviations.

Shivuni Aana
Singers: Keeravani, Mounima
Lyrics: Inaganti Sundar

This undisputed master class composition comprises of mellifluous chants that would give goose bumps to the listener. The most interesting aspect of the composition is the musical travelogue style of ambience it creates. Keeravani’s subtle yet emotional vocals make complete justice to this amazing gem.  Watch out for the percussion feast as the track progresses towards the end.

Dheevara (English Version)
Singers: Adithya, Ramya Behara
Lyrics: Adithya, Noel Sean

An incredibly adorable Jazz version of the funky folk number which arrived earlier. Ramya Behara's soft yet supple vocals takes the listener over a new world of vivid imagination. However, the excessive sequencing and electric guitar looks little out of place for an historic themed film of this sort.

Jeva Nadhi
Singers: Geetha Madhuri
Lyrics: Inaganti Sundar

The album gets the quintessential Rajamouli touch in the finale with this emotionally gripping rendition of Geetha Madhuri about a mother's grief. The violins mourn the sadness with morose feel and Inanganti Sundar's lyrics do the rightful justice.

Verdict: Baahubali can be termed as another feast from the inevitable combination of S.S.Rajamouli and M.M.Keeravani! However, it sure leaves the listener asking for more!
