''THERE IS NO QUESTION OF COMPARISON WITH SHANKAR SIR'' - SS RAJAMOULI

The Baahubali team comprising director SS Rajamouli, Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannaah met the press in Chennai on Friday, June 5th and also launched the trailer of the Tamil version in a grand event where Suriya did the honors as the chief guest.

 

Speaking to the media here, Rajamouli said that like all other directors he also wishes to direct Superstar Rajini one day. He also told that he shared a great rapport with Suriya and that he had met Ajith twice. Rajamouli also added that Ajith was a fantastic human being.

 

On comparisons with director Shankar, this is what he had to say

 

"When Shankar sir was working with visual effects and CG in his early films, I didn't even know what a green matte was. There is no question of comparing me with him but am happy that my name is taken after him, whenever there is talk about making grand effects-based films on big scales and budgets."

 

Baahubali is planned as a July 10 release across the nation in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
