EXPECTATION METER

The multilingual actor Sundeep Kishan, who was last seen in the recent release Maranthen Mannithen, is taking up a lead role in Yaaruda Mahesh - a romantic comedy written and directed by Madhan Kumar. Sundeep had also earlier assisted Gautham Menon in Vaaranam Aayiram. The movie is about Siva going on a manhunt for Mahesh and hence the title.

Alongside Sundeep, the movie also features Dimple Chopade, Jagan, Livingston, Uma Padmanabhan, Srinath, Swaminathan and Singamuthu. Madhan Kumar is an ex-advertising professional who has also assisted director Manikandan (Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya) before trying his hand in direction. Madhan is quite confident of the movie's success judging by the responses it received after initial screenings.

Na.Muthukumar's lyrics are set to tune by Gopi Sundar. Produced by Colour Frames and Red Studios, Yaaruda Mahesh is releasing this weekend. If it turns out to be that little gem that not many people have heard of, yet capable of taking the box-office by storm, then it stands a chance.
