The album kick starts with a riveting folk melody sung brilliantly by Sathya Prakash and Vandana. The song has impressive chord progression which has shades of Carnatic Raaga Nata Bhairavi. However, it is the tantalizing flute which bags all the credit! The typical string section follows sincerely and the song irresistibly reminds the listener of 80s rustic melodies!

The folksy flavor continues with a lovely solo this time sung by the supremely talented Shreya Ghoshal. The rhythm is blended effectively with rustic beats and contemporary bass work as well. But the overall impact of the song is essentially the bygone magic of folk music. D.Imman explores the beauty of Carnatic Raaga Keeravani and Kaapi but with occasional alien notes and Spanish flamenco riffs.

A gripping number which again has the influence of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s 80s folk melodies but here we get to hear Hard Rock guitar layers to give it a modern touch. Sai Charan’s confident vocals add much vigor to this feel good composition. Nevertheless, the complete scope was experimentation was left unexplored for it.

The breeziest singer Aalap Raju arrives with an introspective number which has the shades of an alternative rock ballad with an impressive folk make up. The powerful hard rock guitars follow with ease but never dominate the lead vocalist! The chord progression is quite impressive which strike a changeover in the right moment!

The grand finale occurs like a heavy tribute for folk performers of Tamil Nadu in exquisite style. Jeyamoorthi and Anitha take over the song with their quirky vocals with perfect ambience of a remote village singing programme! It would be interesting to know that the song slowly graces the realms of Carnatic Raaga Sindhu Bhairavi and rebounding to the folk style.
