TAMIL MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

The latest remake movie to hit the turnstiles, Thillu Mullu borrows its name and story from the comic caper directed by legendary KB starring superstar Rajinikanth. Directed by Badri, this remake stars Shiva in the lead role - performed by Rajini in the original with excellent comic timing.

Shiva is aware of the responsibility and was quoted as saying that he has interpreted the character in his style and also added a lot of his quirkiness. Thillu Mullu has Prakash Raj, Isha Talwar, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan with cameo appearance by Santhanam (made by Kamal in the original version).

The movie is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja in collaboration with the legendary musician MSV in an effort to evoke nostalgia for folks who are familiar with the original movie. The title song and the Raagangal Padhinaru songs are retained in the sound track.

Director Badri, in a recent interview, assured that this version of Thillu Mullu will be contemporary to today's audience. He also added that he is aware that comparisons are bound to arise and that the latest version will be as entertaining as the original. Thillu Mullu is distributed by Vendhar Movies and is releasing all over this weekend.
