Yuvan Shankar Raja has sung the number ‘Kadal Rasa Naan’ in Dhanush’s Maryan, under A.R.Rahman’s music direction. Their teaming-up has increased the hype about the music of Maryan which was even otherwise highly anticipated by Rahman’s wide fan base.

Yuvan said that when he told Rahman that he really enjoyed his composition and the overall experience of singing under him, Rahman hugged him warmly. Yuvan is also a big fan of Rahman’s music and without any second thoughts; he agreed to sing this song when he first received a call for the same.

It seems Yuvan forgot the fact that he was a composer himself and just sang according to the brief that was given to him by Rahman.
