Irandam Ulagam's 10 days' TN box office collection report

Irandam Ulagam has completed a 10 day run at the box-office and we take stock of its collections from around the state of Tamil Nadu. According to many trusted trade sources, the gross at the end of yesterday, the 10th day, is estimated to be 13 crores.

The movie had a good opening in its first weekend with many screens releasing the movie. Here are the opening screen counts from some of the key circuits in the state.

Salem and surroundings - 52 screens
Trichy and surroundings - 30 screens
Coimbatore and surroundings - 20 screens
Madurai and surroundings - 28 screens
North Arcot, South Arcot, Chengalpet (NSC) - 105 screens

The reviews in the first weekend were mixed and this resulted in a drop in occupancies during the weekdays. The second week saw a considerable reduction in shows across the state, with three new releases in the ring.
