Breaking - Leading director turns Dhanush's dad

There are some interesting additions to the cast list of Dhanush's 25th film, Velai Illa Pattadhari. Director Samuthirakani and Saranya Ponvannan would be playing Dhanush's parents in the movie and Amala Paul, who has been cast as the heroine in the film, is playing a doctor's role in the film.

The shoots have already begun and a day's shoot was done at the VGP premises in Chennai earlier and from tomorrow (20th August), the filming would be resumed.

Velraj is directing this film for Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and another Dhanush constant Anirudh would be providing tunes for this film.
