Selvaraghavan gets Anirudh on board

Director Selvaraghavan’s movies are generally known for their surprise elements. Well the latest news that comes out as a surprise is that Harris Jayaraj will not be doing the back ground score for the movie. The music director had to opt out because he is overloaded with work, pushing him to suggest the team to use another music director.

The interesting part here is that Anirudh has been brought on board to fill in the large shoes of Harris Jayaraj. Anirudh has definitely been proving himself as a good composer and taking up the responsibility of such a huge film would definitely be a challenge and a great opportunity for the young music director.

The Irandam Ulagam team was categorical in clarifying to Behindwoods that there is no rift or friction between Harris and Selva as some media reports had suggested and that the decision was made positively on a mutual agreement. Harris Jayaraj's songs for Irandam Ulagam has been much appreciated by both the fans and music critics.

Irandam Ulagam is scheduled for a Diwali release at the moment but it would be interesting to see if the movie would be a finished product by Diwali with the deadline closing in day by day. Stay tuned for more updates on Irandam Ulagam.
