A decently done thriller in Tamil is long overdue and Pizza is right in time to fill the gap. Tautly written and neatly performed, Pizza is directed by debut talent Karthik Subbaraj.
Pizza might have had an average opening but the movie has very good word of mouth and is going good all over.

Who would have thought a dark horse like Pizza will score such positive reviews upon its release, particularly since nobody bet anything on the movie. Directed by Karthik Subburaj, this neatly crafted thriller is one of the taut thrillers to be released this year.
Opening wasn’t particularly extraordinary but since the reviews and word of mouth are fantastic, the movie has every scope to make it big.
