English Vinglish has entered its 6^th week at the box-office and this is no mean feat

A standing ovation for this sensitive and uplifting movie about the increasing impact of English on Indian households. 

A memorable movie by Gauri Shinde, that has brought back Sridevi into the limelight. The Tamil version has also positioned Ajith in a remarkably different avatar in contrast to his serious ‘suited’ look in movies like Billa.

Though the opening day wasn’t phenomenal, Ajith’s cameo and the extremely favorable word of mouth pushed the movie’s prospects and it ran to packed houses over the weekend.
