Spoof made big business in 2010 and it all started with Tamizh Padam. The movie made a few jaws drop for its unapologetic spoof of everything good, bad and ugly in Tamil films. Goa followed suit and made decent money in the multiplexes of urban centers. Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam, a clever spoof of cowboy movies also received good word of mouth that translated into collections.
