PRODUCER ATTACKED BY LOCAL HENCHMEN?

Maha Subair is a Malayalam film producer known for his films like Paleri Manikyam (Mammootty), Meesa Madhavan (Dileep, Kavya), Manassinakkare (Jayaram, Nayanthara) and Thirakkadha (Prithviraj, Priyamani).

He is currently the producer of 'Aakasha Mittayee' a Jayaram film directed by Tamil actor/director Samuthirakani. Unfortunately, he was injured in an attack in Kochi apparently by a local henchmen who also attacked other members of the film crew including leading production controller Badusha.

The police said that they have begun the investigation and shall nab the culprits soon. This attack comes just a day after Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s statement against the producer, who claimed that she was not ready to work with a male chauvinistic producer.  Varalaxmi was replaced by Iniya later. The shooting of the movie was progressing in the premises of a private hotel when the goons unleashed violence. The producer suffered injuries on his neck and ear and was hospitalized.
