Mersal would be a triple bonanza for all Vijay fans. For the first time, he would be seen featuring in 3 distinct roles in one film. We have seen two of his looks through the official first look posters.

One of the leaked photos from Mersal shooting spot had the name Maaran in it. Speculations started to build saying Vijay’s character name in Mersal is Maaran.

We got in touch with our sources close to the team to know if this is true. They tell us that it is true, one of Vijay’s characters in the film is christened as Maaran. Based on the photos from the shooting spot, some reports suggest that Vijay plays a politician while some say he is a doctor who returns from abroad. We will have to wait and see which one of that is true.
