Vijay's Mersal is fast growing, and it is told that the shooting is going on the right pace for the grand Diwali release. The film has a star-studded cast which includes Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Sathyan, and has music by A.R.Rahman.

Sources close to us inform that the satellite rights of this biggie have been bagged by Zee Tamil for a whopping amount. It is reported to be more than 30 crores. This has set the expectations very high after a positive response to the First look posters.
