Samantha is a busy girl, who is part of various interesting projects including Irumbu Thirai, Aneethi Kathaigal, Savithri biopic, untitled Sivakarthikeyan - Ponram film, Rangasthalam 1985 (Telugu) and others. She is also a part of Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal, directed by Atlee.
 

Though she is a part of the movie, the actress didn't share the first look posters on her social media all the while. Finally, she has revealed the reason why she couldn't share the first look posters. She tweeted, "One week without a phone. Not so bad. Can I do it again? Hell no !! #shootinthehills #nocoverage #backtobasics". Seems like she was busy with the shoot of Rangasthalam 1985 in a remote area hill station.
