KAVALAI VENDAM 1ST WEEKEND BOX OFFICE REPORT!

At the end of the 4 days opening weekend, Jiiva’s latest romantic comedy Kavalai Vendam has grossed around 1.24 crores in Chennai city alone according to Behindwoods box office wing. This is a decent figure and compares well with the other recent films of the same league. It is off to an Above Average opening!

Kavalai Vendam was released on the 24th November, following the new Thursday release trend in Kollywood. But how fruitful was that gamble to release the film on a weekday, especially during such cash crunch situation is something that needs to be waited and observed.
