ADMIST ALL THE POSTPONEMENTS, ONE BIG FILM PLANS FOR A RELEASE!

Film trade scenario is in a volatile state after the demonetization panic issue. Almost all the makers who had planned to release their films by the 2nd and 3rd weeks of November have been pushing their films to a later date hoping the trade situation will return to normalcy soon.

On one hand, when filmmakers are busy postponing  their films to December, we have a producer who comes up with a release announcement in November. Kavalai Vendam which was earlier planned to release on October 7th is now being planned for November 24th, Thursday.

Venkat Prabhu’s Chennai 28-II which has been planned for Nov 25th release might be postponed to the first week of December. This year might have jammed ending with a dozen films eyeing to get a piece of the December. It looks to be a survival of the fittest situation; every film will have to gatecrash if they need to release before the end of this year.
