K-TOWN'S THREE MUSKETEERS!

Sawaari is an upcoming film directed by debutant Guhan Senniappan with few newcomers who are here to stay. This psycho road thriller holds Benito Franklin, Karthik Yogi and Mathivanan in the lead.

Mathivanan, popular name in the Chennai theatre circle and a youtube video creator talks to Behindwoods about his association with this feature that will be presented by the ace production house, Sri Thenandal Films.

“How the journey of three men gets intertwined at a point and what follows afterwards forms the crux of the film.  I have a negative shade to my character. Guhan hosted rehearsals that enabled all the artists to perform his vision by adapting his writing to each of our comfort zones. We did what came to us naturally.”

Mathivanan is also part of Guhan’s Kanneer Anjali starring Karunakaran and Motta Rajendran in the lead. This film will reboot with the shooting process after the release of Sawari, say sources.

Sawaari boasts of Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music which was launched by actor Vijay Sethupathi on March 7th. DoP Chezian worked behind the camera while editor late Kishore took care of the edits. It should be noted that this was the last film the ace editor worked on before his untimely death in 2015. The team will witness its judgement day on March 18th that will mark its theatrical release.
