Kishore continues to raise the sickle ...

An action flick, Thilagar featuring debutant Dhruva in the lead role along with Kishore in an important part, is directed by G Perumal Pillai. This upcoming film's trailer has become a head-turner amidst the audience. It is said that this film is based on a specific Tamil community which lives down south of Tamil Nadu.

Kishore and Dhruva play brothers who have contrasting behavioral traits, with the former being the elder aggressor and the latter being the passive type. After the halfway mark, the younger one is forced to fill the shoes of the elder one. The film also features Sujatha, a dancer turned actress who will be doing the role of the mother. Sources say that she has a very strong role in this film and is sure to get more offers after this. And Kishore isn't new to playing such hot-headed roles, as he has already showcased this side in movies like Aadukalam and Polladhavan.

With good visuals and a strong native touch as showcased in the trailer, the film is bound to make an impact when it opens in theaters this Friday, the 20th of March.
