WHO WILL BE THAT BIG STAR THAT DHANUSH IS LOOKING FOR?

As reported earlier, Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films will be producing a family drama titled Amma Kanakku starring Revathi and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Amma Kanakku will be an official remake of Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata.

The Tamil version will be directed by Mani Ratnam’s protégé Ashwini Iyer, who had directed the original version as well. Amala Paul plays the role of a servant maid who is also a mother of a child.

‘Isaignani’ Ilayaraaja is heading the music department while Vijaimurugan takes care of art direction. Apparently the team has completed 25 days of shoot till date. They are currently canning some important portions at Chennai Film City where they have erected a middle class house set which is said to be so very authentic.

The latest we hear is that the makers are looking to rope in a big star to feature in a guest role. We are still not sure who that actor will be. It must be noted that Wunderbar’s earlier venture Kaakka Muttai had Simbu playing a cameo role. Who will it be this time?
