The Jayam Ravi  - Arvind Swami starrer Thani Oruvan is a box-office sensation not just in Tamil Nadu but also in USA. According to overseas box-office sources, the film grossed much more in the 2nd weekend compared to the 1st weekend thanks to increased locations and great audience demand, and is at the doorstep of the 200K USD gross mark. This would be the first Jayam Ravi film to gross this much in the US. The gross at the end of the 2nd weekend is said to be 198,789 USD.

 

Thani Oruvan is also seeing a very good run in other key overseas markets such as UK, Malaysia and Australia and is turning out to be Ravi's biggest hit, by far.
