Ajith is known for doing perilous stunts for his movies, be it the train fight in Veeram or the chopper stunt in Billa 2's climax or even the daring dive from a police van in Arrambam. Thala has given his 100%, even though he could have opted for a body double.

Leading stunt master Silva, who choreographed stunt sequences for Veeram, Mankatha and also the most-awaited Yennai Arindhaal said “All the stunts in Yennai Arindhaal were shot live” and later added on saying “Thala always has a habit of getting us tensed by taking some ruthless risks. In one of the stunt sequences we were requesting him to use regular glass panes that are used for stunt purposes, but he broke a real glass with his bare head.”
