'Adimai Pen' MGR in Karthi's Komban

What to expect from a film titled Komban is almost a given. However the One hundred and sixty seven second trailer of this Karthi starrer, Muthaiah directorial reveals that the film will be replete with action, romance and sentiments with a rural backdrop.

Karthi as Komban, with his handle bar moustache complemented by a dhoti that is tied up pretty high and with a ruthless and naughty countenance about him, gives the apt rugged feel for his character. Looks like he is going to combine with Thambi Ramaiah this time to bring some lighter moments, and this is ratified when Karthi says that there is an MGR and that too an Adimai Pen M G R in Thambi Ramaiah.

Lakshmi Menon in her usual avatar of a Tamil ponnu, a relatively subdued Kovai Sarala as Karthi’s mom and the much understanding performer Raj Kiran appear to promise a rural family drama filled with commercial ingredients. G V Prakash’s score also heightens the mood of this film produced by Studio Green, which is all set to hit the screens on March 27.
