AFTER VIJAY'S POKKIRI, IT'S DHANUSH'S VIP 2

Dhanush has finished shooting for Prabhu Solomon’s project while his other upcoming project VIP 2 still hasn’t made anything official about its title. Touted to be a fresh script, directed by Velraj, the film has Dhanush, Samantha, Amy Jackson, KS Ravikumar and Radhika Sarathkumar playing important roles.

With Anirudh doing the music, the film has Sathish doing the comedian’s part. An interesting update about VIP 2 is, Dhanush’s character name would apparently be Thamizh. This was also Vijay’s character name in Pokkiri.

Does this name has something to do with the trait of the character? All that we can expect for now is the possibility of Dhanush playing a relatable role like he most often does. Regarding the shoots, just a couple of days of patch work remain in Chennai.
