VIP 2, NEARING CLOSURE AND ON TRACK...

News and updates regarding VIP 2 seem to have come to a halt. To reopen the floodgates, Behindwoods spoke to a credible source regarding this Dhanush starrer, which is being directed by Velraj, funded by Wunderbar Films and scored by Anirudh. Following are the excerpts of the information obtained.

- All official announcements on the title, teaser release and other important dates, will happen in the month of October.

- As Wunderbar Films' other production Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (NRD) is also getting ready to hit the screens soon, the team is going to wait for the film's release before starting to concentrate on VIP 2. NRD will get the limelight at this point.

- As far as the production update is concerned, VIP 2 is close to completion as the team is occupied with the post-production tasks and is quite confident about emerging out as a Diwali release.

This indeed gives us a clear picture on the sequence of events that can be expected from the hit combo of Dhanush - Anirudh - Velraj!
