“AFTER PARADESI, I WAS ALWAYS WONDERING IF I WAS CHOOSING THE RIGHT FILM”

Atharvaa has proved his potential as a star performer in Bala’s Paradesi. He is now busy with many projects but took time off to update on his impending films.

His next release would be the Sargunam directorial Chandi Veeran produced by Bala.  Working with Sargunam was fun, Atharvaa opines and states that the director keeps improvising on the sets. Would the film be a serious one? Atharvaa laughs and says it is not. “Chandi Veeran is NOT a serious film and is a total entertainer. It is a village based, humorous subject. I play a fun loving young man from Mannargudi”.

On being associated with Bala once again but as a producer, the Paradesi hero discloses, “The effect of being associated with Bala sir’s production is something different. Everybody is passionate in the sets and you can feel that intensity there”.

Paradesi has its own effect on Atharvaa. “After I completed Paradesi, for a long time, I was always skeptical about choosing my next film and was wondering if it was right. The intensity that film had on me was such. The film has also given me lots of confidence”, he confesses.

“Chandi Veeran is almost done and the audio launch is expected this month and the movie release next month”, Atharvaa informs. Meanwhile he has almost finished Kanithan where he plays a city based reporter who loses his identity and goes in search of it. His other film Eeti has begun post-production now.
