The cult's remake is underway

C.V.Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment, in a short span of time has established itself as a brand that associates with quality films. Some of the films the production house has funded are Attakathi, Pizza, Villa and Soodhu Kavvum. Currently Thirukumaran Entertainment is producing Mundasupatti with Vishnu and Nanditha in lead roles and Sarabam directed by Arun Mohan with Naveen Chandra and Saloni.
 

Meanwhile C.V.Kumar will also be bankrolling the Tamil remake of Lucia, the Kannada film that lapped up all the acclaim. This as yet, untitled film will have Siddharth, Deepa Sannadhi and Naren as leads and will be directed by Prasad Ramar who worked under Karthik Subbaraj. Santhosh Narayanan will score the music with Gopi Amarnath behind the camera and Leo John Paul in charge of editing. The film began its shooting in Chennai yesterday, 10^th February 2014. A formal pooja ceremony was also held prior to the commencement of shoots.
