Lingaa - Rajini is 'officially' a thief

Lingaa’s music album has been met with mixed reviews from the critics as well as the fans but like all the other previous AR Rahman albums, Lingaa might also grow gradually with time.

But one of the five songs in the album ‘Mona Gasolina’, which has an instant pull factor and catchy lyrics, is already a sensation among the masses. A 30 second promo video of this song was also released yesterday with some fancy settings and most importantly Superstar Rajinikanth’s stylish dance moves.

Now the man who penned the lyrics for this song, Madhan Karky has revealed the story behind the song in his official social forum. “#Lingaa’s #MonaGasolina is a story of ‘how a girl steals the heart of a thief’, told with three short stories: Pirate, Robin Hood & Hacker.”
