''Suriya is a benchmark for me''

Samantha looks set to have a rollicking year in Tamil cinema with films opposite both Suriya and Vijay, in Anjaan and 'Vijay 57' respectively. Her stills with Suriya from Anjaan were recently unveiled and fans are really thrilled about the chemistry between this first time pairing.
 

Sam can't stop raving about Suriya and his great qualities as an actor. In a recent interview this is what she had to say
 

“All of us have heard about his professionalism and that he’s a gentleman, but after working with him, I realized he’s much more than that. Everything, from the humility with which he carries himself on the set and how he performs in front of the camera, seem like a benchmark for me”

Sam is also confident of making a mark in Anjaan, directed by master commercial director Lingusamy. Though the movie would be hero-centric like all mass movies, she is confident as ever.

“Like characters in most Lingusamy’s films, my characterization is quite spunky and full of life.”

Anjaan is set for release on August 15th, 2014 and the expectations surrounding the film are huge.
