Among the memorable father - son duos in Tamil cinema, Director S.A.Chandrasekhar and Ilayathalapathy Vijay are right at the top. Having directed films like Paayum Puli and Naan Sigappu Manidhan with Superstar, SAC (fondly called) has called the shots for a number of films in his memorable career as a director.

But for the very first time, director SAC has played a full fledged role in a feature film titled Touring Talkies ! He has played the role of a 75 year old lover in the film that has two different stories narrated through the respective halves. Newbie Hemamalini from Shimla will be the love support for SAC.

Maestro Ilayaraja has done the music and Sreekar Prasad takes care of the editing along with Reji. The story talks about a youth on his journey of love. The movie has been completely shot at Rajasthan and Shimla. With the shooting done, re-recording is happening in full swing to kick-start the release plans.
