People's Choice - Top Actresses: The year of the comeback queen

A commercial Indian movie without the female love interest is just unimaginable. They sizzle in the song and dance sequences, romance the hero and provide enough eye candy, amid all the heroism and macho action around.

Once in a while, we also get the heroine-centric films where our heroines are the single pivotal element in the movie and solely resurrect the movie's fortunes. Woman power in Tamil cinema is on the rise, what with so many popular heroines who command as big a fan following as some of the prominent lead heroes. Behindwoods recently conducted a poll to find out the heroine who commands the most crazy fan following and we present here, the results of this poll which saw great participation from masses in the online space.
