In a recent interview, Arya traces his cinematic journey with directors like Bala and Selvaraghavan and feels that he is blessed to have been featured in their films.
 

To a poser on his relationship with Nayanthara, Arya states that they share a deep bonding and that their friendship is permanent. He furthers, “It is hard to find a girl like Nayanthara and our friendship is here to stay. The happiness that you get in friendship will not happen in love and we will always remain best friends.”
