Ajith's Veeram - screen counts in overseas markets

Ajith's Veeram has been confirmed to release on January 10th, a few days ahead of Pongal and the film is set to receive a grand opening like previous Ajith starrers. Jilla is also releasing on the same day, thereby making it the most power-packed release day in recent years.

In Tamil Nadu, both the movies are neck-and-neck when it comes to garnering theaters and multiplexes are figuring out a way to accommodate both the movies in their best screens. Many single screens have also been sharing their shows between the two movies in an effort to reach out to both sets of fans and audiences.

In overseas markets, Veeram has so far been booked in 153 theaters across 13 counties. The final listings for Malaysia haven't been finalized yet for both Veeram and Jilla.
