Lingaa is now next only to Enthiran

After its opening weekend, Superstar Rajini's Lingaa has emerged as the all-time Number 2 grosser in the US, after the star's own Enthiran. The figure has been reported by authentic overseas box-office trackers and Lingaa's opening weekend gross is said to be 1.37 million USD (8.6 crores INR). This figure includes the premiere shows on Thursday.

 

Analysts in the US are surprised that despite low ratings and mixed reviews from critics, the film has managed to gross this much. We have to see if the film has more muscle to get anywhere closer to Enthiran. Stay tuned.
