Vijay: ''If your enemy comes to kill you, you cannot let him do that''

Yesterday, the 50 days celebrations of Kaththi happened in Nellai. Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Sathish, who played a prominent role in the movie, attended the event. Vijay was, so unlike his reticent self, expressive and generated claps at will.

 

He compared life, the support one gets and the obstacles one faces, to a football game. "Just as in a football game, to achieve one's goal, you might get support from people, who fall on your team. However, the catch is that there will be 11 others against you who will be a hindrance. Only if you cross them, you will get the elusive success."

 

Vijay also said, "Similar to the popular saying, never let go of things, don't take what's rightfully others', too. If your enemy comes to kill you, you cannot be letting him do that. We will have to fight back, just like he does. The weapon you choose depends on the weapon in your enemy's hands. If he talks softly, you will have to reciprocate softly. If he goes 'vera mathiri', we would also have to go 'vera mathiri'."
