Ilayathalapathy Vijay - 22* years of surviving and succeeding

When an actor is coming from a film family, he is no stranger to publicity, crowd and the world of media. This actor, that we are talking about, was born to director-producer SA Chandrasekhar and singer Shoba Chandrasekhar; and has now become one among the all time favorite stars in the industry. Ilayathalapathy Vijay stepped into the industry exactly the same day 22 years ago as a lead hero, with the release of the film Naalaiya Theerpu. Thereon, he faced many ups and downs during his acting tenure and now this down to earth star is one of the most desirable men in the Indian film fraternity.

This multifaceted personality is also known for his playback singing and philanthropic activities apart from acting. From Bombay City Sukkha Rotti in the film Rasigan to Selfie Pulla in Kaththi he has sung many songs - melodies and dancing numbers.  The actor is not just the face of his movies, but also has an organisation for his fans named Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, with the motive of serving society in whichever way possible.

Vijay is known for his poised nature when he appears on the public platform and is always respected by all strata of the society. He is also among the top trending actors in Twitter with a huge fan base. Vijay is now all set working for his upcoming untitled project with director Chimbudevan.
