Massive numbers for Kochadaiyaan
Mar 20, 2014 Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan has been the talk of the town ever since it had its music and trailer launched on the 9th of March in Chennai in a grand event, which saw the participation of some of the biggest names in the Indian film industry. The trailer has crossed 3 million hits in Eros Tamil's official YouTube channel and the clip continues to gain a lot of viewership with every passing hour thanks to good reviews among the public.
The teaser of the movie had earlier set a new benchmark for South Indian cinema by crossing 4 million clicks and it looks the trailer will also follow suit. Some of the other recent film trailers/teasers which received widespread viewership are Jilla, Thalaivaa, Raja Rani, Arrambam and Billa 2.
Kochadaiyaan was censored yesterday with a clean U certificate and the entire industry is eagerly waiting for a final word on the film's final release date. Will it make it to the screens as expected, on April 11? We have to wait and watch.
