Jigarthanda producer to take up a Rajini movie

The talks regarding Rajini’s evergreen Moondru Mugam being remade have been doing the rounds for some time now. The latest development is that the producer of Jigarthanda, Kathiresan of Group Company has grabbed the remake rights of the movie.
 

There were talks recently of Vishnuvardhan helming the film. But the director brushed aside the news and continued with his current project, Yatchan.
 

Karthi is also apparently in talks to reprise Rajini’s role but a confirmation is yet to come by. Stay tuned ...
