Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'perfect treat' for Jigarthanda!

Yesterday marked Jigarthanda's 100th day since its theatrical release. Director Karthik Subbaraj tweeted, "100th day of Jigarthanda.Though not running in theatres, somewhere someone is watching it in some way even today. So team, lets celebrate!! :)"

 

Later on in the day, he received the 'perfect treat' from none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay, himself. When asked to pick his favourite recent movies, Ilayathalapathy Vijay chose Jigarthanda and the Malayalam superhit, Drishyam.

 

In a while, director Karthik Subbaraj sent out a 'Thank You' tweet. It read, "Thanks a lot Vijay sir for mentioning Jigarthanda!! A perfect treat for me and my team on our 100th day since release!! :)"
