Komban and Masss for record prices.

For quite a while, Tamil films are getting major openings in Kerala as well. Thanks to stars like Rajini, Kamal, Vijay, Suriya, Vikram and Ajith, the neighboring state is also counting big numbers. The recent Kaththi and the soon to be released 'I' were sold for record prices in the 'God's Own Country'.

A development to the market is, marketing - distribution firm Dream Factory have sold the Kerala distribution rights of Komban and Masss for very high prices. The Karthi starer Komban is a family drama based on a rural backdrop and Suriya's Masss is believed to be a one-of-a-kind horror-comedy.

Having a firm hold on the Telugu market already, Karthi would be looking to establish his hold on the Kerala market now. Suriya, on the other hand, continues to stake up expectations in Kerala with Masss as well.
