Dhanush on the brink of wrap up

Dhanush has started his second Hindi venture with director Balki of Cheeni Kum and Paa fame. The Raanjhanaa star will feature alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan.

As far as Tamil, he has a bunch of projects in hand, including the under production Anegan and Velai Illa Pattadhari (VIP).

While the KV Anand directorial is half way down the lane, VIP directed by Velraj is on the brink of completion.

Talking to us, cinematographer turned director Velraj informs, “We have 20 days of shooting left, with which the film will be wrapped up.” He also avers that Velai Illa Pattadhari has made him realize the difficulties and challenges in directing a film.

Meanwhile, the music of the film is scheduled for a release on February 14^th. “The album has 6 superb songs, including a theme track,” briefs Velraj.

VIP stars Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead. The teaser trailer and the first look posters were released recently and were received well.
