Santhanam takes precedence over Nayanthara

Udhayanidhi Stalin's second acting venture, Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal (IKK), directed by S.R.Prabhakaran is nearing its completion. Just 2 songs remain to be shot and after that the post-production processes will begin. Udhay plans to release the music in November-end and the film around the Christmas holiday period.

More than Nayanthara, Udhay feels that his pairing with Santhanam would be more prominent in IKK. Of course, the song sequences would see the Udhay - Nayan combo in all its glory.

In IKK, Udhay has also taken part in some emotionally heavy scenes and he feels family audiences would enjoy the movie. Father and sister sentiments have been touched upon by director S.R.Prabhakaran in IKK, says Udhay.

About his much-enjoyed combination with Santhanam, he says that the comedy superstar took care to make sure that IKK didn't have any traces of OKOK. He would be seen in a role which would shape the movie's course.

After proving that he can carry movies on his own as a hero, Udhay intends to try out different scripts.
