Karthi’s Kaali renamed Kabali?

Since director Ranjith announced that he is looking for a different title for his Karthi starrer, plenty of rumours started going around. One such speculation being the project renamed from Kaali to Kabali. When contacted the director said, “No. Kabali was our first title. Then we changed it to Kaali. However, we are looking for another title now. We will come up with a better one soon.”
 

Meanwhile, the shooting is currently happening at the Vyasarpadi housing board. A major chunk will be completed in this 40 days schedule. Talking about his hero, Ranjith says, “Karthi is so dedicated. He starts from his home by 4.30 in the morning and comes to the spot real early. He works throughout the day and leaves along with everyone after 6.30 pm. He is working extremely hard for this film.”
 

Kaali (tentative) stars Catherine Tresa opposite Karthi. The actor is also sporting a stylish French beard for the film.
